I think what paul was trying to say is that theres no need for the files to be so big. Theres no need for each movie to be over 1gb each.

That's a matter of what you're looking for. Bigger file size means better quality, and those 700 mb xvid/divx rips of normal length movies look quite fugly. Personally I haven't dl'ed a 700 mb avi in a long time, if there is a seeded alternative.
